Edinburgh has long been home to individuals from a kaleidoscope of nationalities and races creating a vibrant multicultural mix. The three-day annual Edinburgh Mela, Scotland’s biggest intercultural festival, attracts thousands of visitors each August. It is symbolic of the racial harmony that persists within the city and its environs such as Newhaven.
Christianity is the dominant faith, served in Newhaven by Newhaven Church, but moving outwards from this epicentre we find a multitude of other Christian churches and communities of other faiths.
This section of our website hopes to cover all such churches and centres of worship. If we have omitted you please accept our apologies and email enquiries@newhavencommunity.org.uk with your details.
