Western Harbour development

Land reclamation within the Port of Leith along the line of the Western Breakwater which was built to extend Leith Harbour in the 1940s has given rise to extensive new housing such as the luxury apartments at Platinum Point, together with associated infrastructure, transforming an industrial landscape into a vibrant extension to the village. The area is still under construction but promises to become an asset to the village with two new parks and other amenities.
