Serving school & community: The Edinburgh Academy Sports Centre is situated in the grounds of The Edinburgh Academy Junior School on Arboretum Road. The centre is jointly funded by The Edinburgh Academy and the Lottery Sports Fund. It is used during the day by staff, pupils and parents of pupils. The wider community use it in the evenings, during weekends and school holidays.

There are three all weather tennis courts at Academy Sports that can be booked in a one-off basis by both members and the general public. All of these can be block-booked for the same time each week.
